My job is fairly physical as a truck driver as I do a lot of loading and unloading. On 12/18 I had surgery to repair 2 hernias. The surgery went well and I am thankful there are no complications to deal with. I took 2 weeks off for the initial healing of the incisions, etc. I am now back to work, however, for the month of January I have a 20 pound weight limit. I informed my dispatchers of what I believe I can do and what I can't do. While they have been very good about watching out for me in the past, it is still up to me to be smart about what I do regardless of pressure from them or my finances. I am praying for a complete and quick healing, that I don't do anything to set back my healing, and that I get adequate work I can handle to keep up with the bills.
